Three Card Poker

This is a particular type of poker in which you compete against the dealer. Before receiving your cards you must place your bet in the space marked on the cloth with the name of 1st bet (ANTE). The first bet must be inscribed between the limits duly indicated on the table.

Once all players have made their initial bets, the dealer will deal the cards one at a time until completing three cards covered for each player, including himself. These three cards will form your hand, from which you must decide if you want to bet against the croupier’s hand.

If you decide to bet against the dealer you must place in the space of the 2nd bet (BET) a bet equivalent to your initial position (ANTE). Alternatively you can decide to give up before placing your second bet, in which case, the dealer will withdraw your cards and your first bet.

The croupier can not uncover his hand until all players have stated their intention to surrender or win the dealer. To win not only must have a hand superior to the croupier, but you must wait for him to qualify to play. The dealer will only play with Queen (Q) or a combination of higher value as detailed in the “value of plays” point. With any other hand less than the one indicated, the game ends up paying only the 1st bet (ANTE) 1 to 1.

In case the croupier opens the game he must compare his best possible poker hand only with the hands of those players who have bet in the space of the 2nd bet (BET).

Value of plays

From lowest to highest value, the valid plays are:

  • Highest card: highest card among players, higher than Queen (Q)
  • A pair: two cards of the same number or figure

Pagos

  • Carta alta: 1 a 1
  • Un par: 1 a 1
  • Color: 1 a 1
  • Escalera: 2 a 1
  • Trío: 5 a 1
